06/20/2007 - Nashville, TN (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Nashville Predators made a move to replace a pair of players traded on Monday by signing center Jerred Smithson to a two-year contract. The deal will pay him $475,000 for next season and $525,000 in 2008-09.

The 28-year-old Smithson appeared in 64 games with Nashville this past season, matching a career-high with five goals.
